Mackin Creek Farm

About 50 miles to the south of Quesnel you will find Mackin Creek Farm. They are an organically certified producer of Vegetables, Berries, Herbs, and Garlic, all of which are regularly featured at the Quesnel Farmers' Market. Owners Rob Borsato and Cathie Allen have lived on the farm for ?? years and dedicate much of their time to their work. As if a 105 acre farm isn't enough to keep these two busy, Rob is also a co-owner of a horselogging company, Paradigm Logging, and Cathie is an accomplished artist.

Together with Dragon Mountain Farm, Mackin Creek Farm began running a weekly service called "Box-A-Week" in 1995. Customers who sign up at the beginning of the season receive a weekly delivery of a box full of in-season certified organic produce. They are now operating at capacity, delivering healthy organic veggies to about 200 households in the Quesnel and Williams Lake areas. Dragon Mountain Farm services the Quesnel area while Mackin Creek Farm services the Williams Lake area.
